Jason Weiss
December 2016
I just returned from my first trip to China, taking 5 Israeli startups to the beautiful island of Hainan to pitch and meet with dozens of Chinese investors hungry for new technology. In just 2 days of networking, I learned more about business in China than in years of working with incoming Chinese delegations in Israel.

THAT'S A WRAP!
OUR
OBJECTIVE
To introduce and showcase emerging technology startups from Israel
to the Saint Petersburg investment community in order to help startups secure investment and strategic partnerships.

EVENT
DESCRIPTION
Israel is well known as the Startup Nation, home to more than 5,000 startups and over 1,000 new startups created each year. This has made Israel one of the most attractive countries for investors around the world with the highest amount of investment per capita. In 2015, venture capital investment in Israel reached a record of $4.4 Billion into nearly 400 companies. 69 exits marked another high - VC investors earned about $5.4 billion from Israel investments in 2015, an average in $1.5 earned from exits for each dollar invested.*
2016 is expected to continue the growing trends of investment and exits in Israel. Axis Russia provides investors a unique first hand look at some of the leading Israeli startups, cutting edge innovations and exciting investment opportunities.
