I just returned from my first trip to China, taking 5 Israeli startups to the beautiful island of Hainan to pitch and meet with dozens of Chinese investors hungry for new technology. In just 2 days of networking, I learned more about business in China than in years of working with incoming Chinese delegations in Israel.

Roundtable Discussion
Highway 101: First Adopters - This panel will include representatives from the private, public and investor. Discussion will focus on what technologies will disrupt mobility, how to work with governments to prepare infrastructure for the 21st century. What innovation platforms suppliers and consumers of mobility services have to evaluate, validate and pilot new technologies as well as the internal and external resources that they leverage. Further, what is the role of financing to support pilots/projects that have been successful and/or that are needed.
International Startup Pitching 5 + 5 format
Roadway 201: Tech Pitch Shortlisted technologies will be brought before a panel representing high-level expertise in mobility technology in an interactive and fast paced style format to determine the most promising technologies for this region and beyond. These startup technologies will demonstrate excellence in three key areas: uniqueness, business potential and long-term vision.
