Sean Lim

Chief Operating Officer – EC-Council

​

Sean Lim is the Chief Operating Officer at EC-Council. He is responsible for the deployment of EC-Council’s comprehensive cybersecurity body of knowledge through its certified training programs to its global network of training partners across 145 countries. He is also responsible for the development of innovative cybersecurity learning solutions. Sean was also instrumental in the initial establishment of EC-Council University in the United States. 

 

The research and development initiatives of the EC-Council Group is also led by Sean Lim which includes the development of emerging cybersecurity domains, instructional design, and maintaining the quality of EC-Council’s subject matter experts and instructors.

 

 

Over the last 25 years, Sean oversaw the development of more than 500 learning and training organizations in over 55 countries spanning APAC, EMEA and LATAM. He led numerous large scale credentialing projects with government bodies, industry associations, multinationals and universities. 

 

Sean travels widely and speaks at various information security events, education and technology conferences regionally touching on the latest trends and developments in these

areas. He regularly chairs industry dialogue panels discussing cybersecurity challenges and as an information security evangelist, he shares his insights at various international conferences globally. 

 

Sean sits on the Workcred Credentialing Body Advisory Council of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) where he contributes to the development and implementation of standards for credentialing professional skills.
