Cybersecurity for Retail: threats and ways to protect business

Born in Brazil, native language – Portuguese, fluent in Russian, English and Spanish.

 

During twenty years of his IT career Fabricio participated in more than 40 projects in different fields: Oi & Gas, Agrobiz, Pharmacy, Automotive and Retail.

 

Fabricio made his career from being a consultant to architect and then to IT Director and CIO. He built a strong team able to execute such projects as automated assortment planning and in-memory technologies sales forecasting, the transaction system SAP CRM on HANA (in Russia), the report

system with online data (5 minutes from the check in the store to the report), a full Omni-channel platform and a number of other innovative projects, covering all business processes of the company.

 

Always transforming trends into business added value he also implemented a Big Data platform with the Hadoop system on recycled equipment from the stores - to analyze pricing, market segmentation, targeted mailing and personalized discounts.

 

Last fifteen years of Fabricio’s experience in retail (FMCG, fashion, household appliances and electronics, food) were dedicated to increasing business efficiency and process optimization as well as implementation of newest technologies available on international market.
